The River or N-10 would be good landing spots for Willard. Travel in the River would be a little rough for Willard though. True, but it is pretty well known (unofficially) Willard isn’t getting in the N10 It's official. They (and Pleasant) got denied.

Push by SBC and/or Willard to go River and small schools kick big schools to the curb while retaining the SBC name.

But, being in "small school SBC" will not help Willard basketball, nor would the other schools like never being able to win a basketball title.

If big schools leave, little schools stay and then SBC goes back to its roots as a small school league. Can’t believe suburban Toledo schools will enjoy travel to Tiffin or Sandusky, the NLL “was” a tight footprint for a reason. Even east side Oregon Clay was too far at one point A "tight footprint" had nothing to do with the NLL choosing Napoleon over Clay when Rossford left several years ago.

Just read on another site from a more reliable poster that there is a school to the east rumored to be the next NLL school. The school that person hinted at was Tiffin Columbian. Just wondered if anyone else has heard this cause if there’s any truth to it then I think I see what’s going to happen with the SBC. so is there any accuracy to this rumor? I have seen some tiffin people post on here, any of you guys hear this? Any one hear anything giving this rumor any legs? I don't see Tiffin not wanting to be the bigger fish in the pond like they are in the Lake Division

Saw a headline just now on the Sandusky Fishwrapper... er, I mean Register website stating New London is going to 8-man ball in 2021.
Crummy news for the NL community for sure.
Look for Willard to fall all over themselves to fill that gap...
Edit: Just saw the thread over in the FC sub... I guess I've been a little outta touch lately lolol.

Well I don't know too much about Willard FB other than I know they've struggled of late but their new home bleachers and pressbox lead the league.

Discussion on Yappi states that NL is not leaving the FC and that they plan to be back to 11-man ball in '22. However, that doesn't mean the league won't leave them.

There really should be a new and separate 10-page thread on Willard's bleachers, no?

Willard Failmore will have a ten page discussion about their bleachers on this website if that’s any consolation.

They were supposed to open with Bucyrus. I noticed that week is now vacant on arbiter for the Redmen. Tough break for both schools. I doubt Bucyrus can find a home opener for now.

Heard that the SBC might do to Oak Harbor what they did to Shelby when they announced they were going to the MOAC Have a party and not invite them? I'm surprised you don't remember. If memory serves me right, they did not allow Shelby to get all league honors or compete for league titles the year before they left. However, I was told it might be a full fledged, don't let the door hit ya, and I assume that would only happen if the SBC comes up with a new set up before Oak Harbor leaves.

I don’t see what the Bay is going to do. None of those River schools are going to come up to the Bay and none of the Bay schools want to bang heads in football with the Lake schools.

I watched Edison vs Firelands on BCSN, The announcer said "When Oak Harbor leaves, Edison Huron and Port Clinton will be moved up to the Lake, Vermilion and Willard will move down to the River, No more Bay".

Vermilion to the River? ROFL
Not based on size, not based on geography, base solely on wussyness.

Vermilion to the River? ROFL Not based on size, not based on geography, base solely on wussyness. Coach Mayer would scoff My post is dated. Vermilion, under him, competed just fine when in ESC that included Admiral King, Elyria, Lorain Senior, Lorain Southview, Midview, North Ridgeville, and Sandusky
