8 games, never said all were at Ontario.
I still think Ashland and Wooster are the favorites.
And I still wonder who is throwing the ball for the Rams.

Your going to see tresten vail behind center again, same qb as last year . Your also going to see tyrell at qb to as he was throwing some nice passes himself. Hopefully Masi pulls his head out of his butt this year and runs the offense that they have the personnel for this year. They need to run a spread from the gun. There line is smaller and there rbs really are just sub par. They have very good receivers this year though. If Ashlands coach had these boys they would be beast

Willard and scooter need to start there own forum so they can complain to each other. I still don't know what Willard is mad about? Either way this forum is in readable when you too are at it. Willard isn't mad, I don't understand how you would think that. There is no indication of such a thing. I just point out untruths, like yours.

8 games, never said all were at Ontario. I still think Ashland and Wooster are the favorites. And I still wonder who is throwing the ball for the Rams. What 8 games?? List the games. He was not allowed to play in games at Senior until after the midpoint of last season. He was the back up, he only played the last couple of minutes in a few games. Before that he only played games at Ontario. He only played entire games at Ontario. Why were you at Senior and Ontario games instead of at Lex games? Again, how do you know all of the coaches, ADs, principals, board members and superintendents at dozens of schools in North Central Ohio that you claim to know, but never mention by name, but always use them as your proof of knowing more about the sports at a school than people who live in those communities and follow their sports religiously? Better answer ALL those questions, if not more untruths have been proven.

Thanks hudson, I had forgotten he was returning. That could be a good option with the athletes but Masi may be a guy, as Conway was, who knows his style and hates to adjust to far from his comfort.
Lex did not play a full jv schedule. I do not know all of any of what you claim. I never claim to watch any sport religiously. I chuckle when you make stupid statements then contradicked yourself.

I don't remember filling out any forms to the OHSAA on why you are moving. Maybe I did, but I do know when the crap hits the fan, they want to know why you moved. Ha! They grilled me on why I moved. You just have to establish residence and enroll your kid. You won't have to sit out the first 5 games of the season, if you actually move, like I did. If you don't move and get a house or an apartment, and you enroll "after" your freshman year, you sit out half of a year in every sport you played the previous season.

I said nothing about Lexington's JV schedule. Another UNTRUTH. "I do not know any of what you claim." You don't know much more about what YOU claim. I said nothing about your sports and religiously. Another UNTRUTH. All I ask is how did you watch this year's Mansfield QB 8 times last year? When he played very little. You have no proof to support your CLAIM. Give us examples to prove your CLAIM. If none are forthcoming, it's another UNTRUTH. I laugh out loud when you "contradicked".

If you don't move and get a house or an apartment, and you enroll "after" your freshman year, you sit out half of a year in every sport you played the previous seasonF If you move before your student athlete participates in a preseason scrimmage or practice or before the 5th day after the start of 9th grade. The OHSAA does not care, you can play right away. If you move after that, one of the questions you must answer on an OHSAA form is why you moved into the new School District. If you move after the start of the 9th grade the OHSAA will not OK students to play a sport they played at the previous school, until all forms are filled out, notarized by a public notary, sent to the OHSAA by the new school district and the OHSAA checks their validity. Once eligibility has been established athletes must sit out the 1st 50% of the games in every sport they played at the previous school. Also you must prove, you really moved. A copy of the lease agreement or deed and a utility bill must be sent to the OHSAA. Everyone in your family must move. All of the furniture is out of your old residence. It is the responsibility of administrators at the new school to periodically check to be sure the family is living where they said they would be.

Willard, you are all messed up. I saw the kid play in 8 games. Not all varsity and not all last year. Your attempts to argue about almost everything in almost every post gets very old and I wish it would have died with NOSF.

galiontiger, you are correct. If you move to a new district and show an address in the district the documents you complete are for enrolling in the new school. If there is a complaint or the school admins sense foul play they will typically notify the OHSAA to get everything approved. The OHSAA will only be made aware of a kid changing schools if either school calls them. Many cases are just like yours, if the school's administration feels everything is legit the OHSAA may never know the school has a new student.

Your attempts to argue about almost everything in almost every post gets very old and I wish it would have died with NOSF. scoot, you are very evasive at best and full of untruths at the worst. Not to mention that you admit to playing "games" with people on here. FINALLY I've gotten you to be a little less evasive. Now, why were you watching "8" Mansfield JV games last year and/or Ontario JV games 2 years ago or middle school games 3 and 4 years ago, instead of Lex games on the same days? Are you an uncle? STILL seeking the COMPLETE truth, to explain that unusual practice. More of your UNTRUTHS when you say "I argue on almost every post". There is HUGE difference between arguing and seeking the truth. When obvious UNTRUTHS are spoken and evasive answers are given OR questions are completely ignored. Like this one, that has been asked multiple times. When you say you are more knowledgeable about a school district than people that live there. You often say it's because you get info from coaches ADs, principals and superintendents that you talk to, never giving a name, at dozens of school districts all over North Central Ohio. How is that possible? I have an idea why, but don't understand why you avoid saying it. Others on here have. If this goes unanswered again it will prove your BIGGEST untruth. Truth seekers never go away, they are always watching. I was hoping your silly admitted games would die with NOSF, but the same conundrum continues.

OHSAA bylaws are primarily policed by the schools. Same as when you get pulled over for speeding but get a warning without a ticket.
Thanks for making my point.

I seen Lexington this year and they have some big boys this year. I think there just as good as the other top three occ teams Wooster , Madison and Ashland.

Hudson I will do a pick contest as well.
The closer we get the more I think the league will be pretty balanced this year. I expect Wooster, Ashland, Madison, Mansfield Sr. and Lexington to all be good, and I think West Holmes has the talent to be decent if they can pull it together. I have no clue about Clear Fork.

Since it looks like Ashland has quite a few picks for first place in the OCC, it couldn't hurt to see one of their scrimmages. They play Wapakoneta at Wapak (Harmon Field) on August 13th, at 10AM.
Hudson, I'd be interested in joining a pick 'em too.

Seems a little odd to have an OCC picked page even if there are no OCC teams playing. But I'll try to keep up.

Lexington's problem this year is going to be figuring out what they want to do at qb. They graduated Joey Vore last year and the next guy in line is supposed to be Sr Logan Pfizenmeyer. He would then be unlikely to he able to go every play on defense. The likely next option would be sophomore Ben Vore, who I believe was the jv qb last year. The defense does return all the starters from last year including Tony Gerrell who lead the area in interceptions with 9 last year and Cade Stover, who single handedly shut down Shelby's Armstrong last year.

He sure didn't shut down Madison at all. However this year is going to be a way better game . Madison's oline isn't as good this year either is there Dline. Lex will probably hit a few big runs against Madison as long as you get by tyrelle

After the summer I think the league goes like this .
1. Ashland- always a good team and won't change this year 2. Wooster- returns a lot of talent and might even finish first 3. Lexington- returns like the whole team from last year. Time to see if the got what it takes 4. Madison- returns a lot of talent. Line play might just be to weak. But can beat anyone 5. Clearfork- returns most of there team. Might just surprise a few teams this year. 6. Mansfield - just looks very weak this year other then two to three good players 7. West Holmes - lost there coach late and probably won't win much

Mansfield in my opinion looks very weak this year. They have like 5 freshman playing varsity. There defense looks very weak other then benson and there star manns .
