I'm not searching for anything, as it is impossible for me or any fan to have anything to do with who sports teams play. Unlike some on here, I don't pretend to know much about most schools and their teams in North Central Ohio other than Ontario. Except for the facts and data that are available to anyone who cares to search for them. ALL schools try to find leagues they are most comfortable being a part of, for many reasons, for hopefully MANY decades. Not just this year or next. ASK head coaches why their teams have the schedules they do. As ADs schedule the schools their head coaches would like to see on their out of conference schedules. It is THEIR choice, for their reasons. What "move"? It is impossible to find a league that "benefits" all sports teams equally. That is what non-league scheduling can do. "Personal success"? I have had MUCH more than any normal human being could possibly hope for. None of which had anything to do with high school sports schedules. You self-centered old man. His comments are about the former Clear Fork football coach, not about you.

Unlike many I admit an error after reanalyzing. I used OHSAA enrollment numbers, but for some unknown reason used the incorrect divisor when making hand calculations. Current average enrollments all schools included: OCC = 356, MOAC = 238 Average enrollments without largest school: OCC = 341 MOAC = 165Average enrollments without smallest school: OCC = 374, MOAC = 252 Average enrollments without largest & smallest: OCC = 342, MOAC = 223 Averaging all four examples: OCC = 353, MOAC = 219 In all cases a rather significant disparity. That's it, just numbers, but I love numbers and what they bring to the table. You may like to check your math again. If you removed Harding which is what your first post on this topic was trying to do.

Not to change the subject but Lexington at Ontario has been postponed. Due to water main break at Ontario High School. I know they would rather not give up the tickets, but I would have liked to see this game just moved to Lexington so it could be played over break.

Shelby won without Ramsey. Mansfield’s strategy was to play hockey against Bruskotter. Refs let it go for a while then tightened up the calls. It didn’t work. He still scored a little over 30. I think they just should have played Shelby straight up. Using players that usually sit the bench to hound one player seemed to take Mansfield out of their rhythm.

Bruskotter had 35 so their plan did not work at all. IF they just hold him to his average they win.

The other thing that helped tonight was the contributions of everyone else outside of Bruskotter. Last I saw on the scoreboard was two people with 11-12 points and several others with 8. Good balance and big contributions from guys who don’t normally get asked to score.

DeVito started in place of Ramsey and played well but got himself in foul trouble. Brubaker has been a nice surprise scoring the last few games. Kid know his role on the team and busts his *** when he’s on the floor. Not asked to to score, but if he’s open or sees a lane he’s taking it. Fantastic team effort. Had a ton of assists I would imagine as a team also. Should give them a ton of confidence going forward.

I have 2 pages with dozens of calculations. I picked the wrong number. We find it interesting that you only choose to comment on a "math" error as opposed to the FAR more important overall data proving a point. A "fowl ball" on your part.

Clear Fork coach comments they will be ready for the Shelby press and defense. The result is 18 turnovers and 47-16 halftime score.
