Well, I've now seen 28 of the 30 teams.
And I've also see the Indians lose in person for the 3rd time this year, as they continue to stuggle at home

Tribe heads into the break at 47-40 with a 2.5 game lead.
They haven't really played to their potential this year, will be interesting to see what they do in the second half.

I'll have check my stubs when I get home, but I do know this much, I've seen Josh Beckett pitch more than any other pitcher.

We used to go to a bunch of tribe games growing up. Almost every time Charles Nagy was pitching. It had to have been over 10 times we saw him start

Beckett played for the Marlins when I lived in Florida, for the TedSox when I lived in Boston and the Dodgers when I first came out here. Saw him at away games in OAK and LAA as well. In all, probably around 10-15 times.
I'll break it my stubs and see where I am as far as teams seen

^ Giants and Diamondbacks Looks like I'm missing 7. BAL, TOR, TEX, HOU, WASH, CIN, PIT A few of those I may have gotten when I was younger, but I don't really remember. My stub collection only goes back to 2001 and a few I'm missing(stupid print-at-home). Since 2001 I've got: 42 games at 14 different stadiums 15 of those games involve CLE CLE 15 FLA/MIA 7 BOS 6 SD 5 SEA 4 CWS 4 . . .

Make that 5. My dad got back to me with his stubs. I caught the Orioles in 86 and the Rangers in 87

All of 2016 the tribe never lost more than three in a row. Right now it's four losses in a row with the Giants "looming." Many of Cleveland's offensive players must have had career years last year because they are terrible this year.

Many of Cleveland's offensive players must have had career years last year because they are terrible this year. I know this slump against a team they should dominate is puzzling. Actually, the Tribe is doing OK at the plate, they are currently 4th in the AL team batting average. (1. Houston .289, 2. Boston .266, 3. NYY .266, 4. Clev. .260) They are also 4th in the AL for OBP Team Pitching, the Tribe is #2 in the American League. Seems the bats go silent when Kluber pitches a gem for some reason and they'll snap out of this slump, hopefully soon. This was a great opportunity to put some distance between them and rest of the pack, an opportunity lost......sheesh.

I just don't have this warm fuzzy feeling this year with this team. Last year it was like you could see something special happening. There was a certain electricity in the air that's not there right now. Plenty of time for things to click and hopefully it does here soon.

Despite the gut ache this past week, the Tribe is still in 1st place by 1.5 games. (rather amazing) I'm with you, not going to get overly excited one way or the other till the leaves start turning colors. If the Tribe has things in hand by then, the warm and fuzzy feeling will return....lol I like the make-up of this team and we have one of the best managers in baseball....Terry Francona!

This team is better suited for the playoffs. 1-2 punch of Kluber and Carasco then Miller and Allen in the bullpen

A few notes from the Plain Dealer on this road trip:
In the first five games, they've scored 12 runs. They were shutout once and held to one run in 10 innings Tuesday night in a 2-1 loss to the Giants. They've lost twice in the opposition's last at-bat because the offense left the bullpen no room for error.
The Indians are hitting .192 as a team and .122 (5-for-41) with runners in scoring position on this tour of the Bay Area. On Sunday, they went 1-for-11 with runners in scoring position in a 7-3 loss to the A's. On Monday night, they went 3-for-13 against the Giants in their only win on the trip so far. The win was due in a large part to two San Francisco errors.
In the last 21 games, the Indians have scored three or fewer runs 11 times. That includes four shutouts. They are hitting .209 (46-for-220) with runners in scoring position in those games.
Here's what some of the Indians are hitting on the trip: Brantley .210 (4-for-19), Encarnacion .118 (2-for-17), Yan Gomes .200 (3-for-15), Brandon Guyer .083 (1-for-12), Ramirez .150 (3-for-20), Carlos Santana .167 (2-for-12) and Bradley Zimmer .133 (2-for-15). Francisco Lindor is hitting . 400 (8-for-200) and Giovanny Urshela is hitting .364 (.4-for-11).
Last year the Indians went into the break ranked fifth in the AL in runs scored and finished second overall. This year the Indians entered the break ranked seventh in runs. Can they salvage the offense with another strong second half? The opportunity is there.

Why do the Indians keep going with Shaw? You can't trust him when he comes in. Tribe had a two run lead and he (as usual) blows it.

With some help from his first baseman. The defense cost them 2 games in this series.

Nice sweep of the Jays this weekend with 2 blowouts and a walkoff. This team is way overdue to have some dominant homestands, so hopefully they can keep this up.

Actually the series was a 2-2 tie this season. They had better keep this up against the Angels because I'm not sure when KC will lose again.

Actually the series was a 2-2 tie this season. Which is why I said "retain" as opposed to "win" When the series is split the last team to have won the cup outright retains it

The Indians beat up on chump teams, which they have to do to succeed. Now the real test begins against quality ballclubs. Frankly, don't see the Tribe finishing anymore that one or two games above .500 when it is all said and done. just way too inconsistent hitting. Pitching is fine, bullpen is good, but hitting consistently is atrocious.

2 grand slams in the same game....one of which was a walk off by EE....and it's now 5 straight wins

2 grand slams in the same game....one of which was a walk off by EE....and it's now 5 straight wins One of the wildest and wackiest games I can remember! Up 7-0, I flipped it off and went about other business, comfortable of another Tribe win. Later, thought I'd check back to see how they are finishing things off, surprise, surprise it was 7-6 and watched the A's tie it and threaten to take the lead, but we weaseled out of the jam. Lead-off batters aren't supposed to hit grand slams.......lol

He opened the game with a solo shot last night. I was a Zimmer skeptic when they first inserted him in the line-up, but he is making me a believer. A 6-5 220 lead-off batter is a bit unusual, and he has impressed in the outfield as well, shades of Corey Snyder? Francona knows his players.

One run scored against the Yankees and one (so far) tonight against the Rockies. The offense is absolutely pathetic.
