That may be true. There is a lot of talking going on about movement. it was posted Galion already a player leave. Clear Fork may be getting a couple. Ontario has a couple unhappy. Harding and Pleasant trading athletes is not uncommon. Who knows what next years rosters look like. Dude, I guess you better dig into that wallet of yours (careful, don't let that moth out) and pay a program to keep track of the players.

Last night Clyde beats PC 7-6, scoring 7 runs in the 6th inning. Baseball postseason might be the most interesting of all sports, one good or bad game from the pitcher and a great season can end quickly. Or an untimely error could end a great season, just ask a Red Sox Fan in the World Series.

So right, I'm glad I could help. I hope everything goes alright at the conference track meet today. Knowing Bellevue, you would put out the RED carpet and host one of the best meets there is. You guys put great pride in your school.

I don’t get on here much besides to read and stay up to date on happening stuff in high school sports, I’ve posted on some other boards as well. I know a few kids coming home from college and some other situations as well that are looking for full time jobs for the summer atleast. Marion, Delaware, Wyandot and Crawford county areas. Looking for entry level jobs for them 1st shift preferred because schedule they’d be used to, mostly factory work is wanted. If you know of any that are fairly easy to get into and aren’t a slaughter house let me know! Thanks fellas. (Not your typical post but putting the word out any where) Ohio, I don't know about Marion, Delaware, Wyandot or Crawford Co., but if they are at least close by and willing to travel a little Borgers here in Norwalk are hiring and Whirlpool in Clyde is hiring. Good luck to all.

Picabo, How is your daughters doing in the conference. They've both broken 100 this season. They're pretty excited about that. The "older" one several times; but the frustrating thing is she thinks too much at meets - "a fear" of the tape measure??? She can hit close to 115 - 120 in practice. The "younger" one just hit 100 in our last meet. She did not throw discus last year, and as a freshman had only hit 59 feet. She and her sister worked hard in the off season, and their coach is a good guy. . . deals well with them. We have an invite this weekend, and then SBC's start Tuesday. It should be an exciting week. Just pray for nice weather. That's great to hear about the girls. I will try to make it to the meet today but it's gonna be very tight and busy the rest of this year. I just started back to work at Fisher-Titus as a volunteer about a week or two ago and we got graduations to attend and I have to be at Blissfield, Michigan next Saturday for a meeting. At least up there I'm in friendly group of people since I am a Wolverine fan and I'll be traveling with a bunch of worthless nuts. But I'll try to come to the meet. I will send you a message to tell your oldest on what to do about throwing. Later and GO BLUE!!!!

4/18: Bellevue beat Sandusky 4/19: Bellevue 9 Norwalk 2 4/22: Bellevue beat Ross 4/23: Bellevue 4 Perkins 1 4/26: Bellevue beat Clear Fork 4/28: Bellevue beat Shelby 4/30: Bellevue beat Columbian 5/2: Clyde 6 Bellevue 2 Bellevue and Clyde are now tied atop the SBC Lake. Bellevue has one league game left at Norwalk on Tuesday. To bad the game is on Tuesday because I would love to take in that game. But I have to work at our hospital that night. Darn it, that would have been a great game to see. O'well maybe next time.

Thank You BB, I am surprise that the whole Lake Division is all at the same place. It seems to me that some of the schools were at different locations. Like Mansfield Sr. and Lexington, Clear Fork and Shelby might be somewhere around the Mansfield-Galion Area. And Tiffin Columbian and Kenton was somewhere else. I might be wrong on this I don't know but I think you might know. If not then Willard will definitely know and he will say something.

The girls' district meet is shaping up to be very competitive! The girls are peaking at just the right time. In the Lake division of the girls' discus, it is very feasible that you could have a girl hitting 100' and NOT make it to finals. The Bay division will be very tough as well. Will they place 6 or 8 in each division? Will they do prelims on Tues and finals on Friday? Or discus one night and shot the other? Picabo, How is your daughters doing in the conference.

Well I will check with either his dad, uncle, or bother since we all belong to the same church. As soon as I find out I'll let everyone know. The job has been posted to the OHSAA site. Thanks Fan9, I keep forgetting to check the OHSAA site. So that makes it official that WR is looking for a new head coach.

Dude, Thanks for putting that video up of the Stover kid. He sure can make us farm boys proud of the work ethics we grew up with. Makes me wish that this old, old farm boy was back on the farm. Also did anybody notice Ronburgandy came out and saw his shadow. That must mean that warm, sunny weather is here finally.

Do they have a head football coach or staff? Do they have plans of hiring one? Where is Don Wilson at when you need someone? Maybe they should reach out to Jeff Jump and see if he is interested in coaching the defense. Last I knew he lived 6 miles outside of Wakeman. Wellington, I haven't heard that Stoll is no longer coaching there. What have you heard, did he quit, retired, fired or what?

I get the Chicago station. Before the days of cable I had a 75' tower and THE best antenna money could buy. On a good day, or when there was or was not a large solar flare. I could get a Windsor Canada station. Willard, I remember those days here in Norwalk. On a very good day we picked up not only the 3 Cleveland stations and the 3 Toledo stations but we could pick up a few Detroit stations and a Windsor, Canada station and an Akron station. Now sometimes I wished we still had those towers, since I have dish I can not get the Toledo stations since I live east of the divide line of Huron and Sandusky county line. Damn rules.

A couple of North Coast Summer or Huron Fall Ball "championships" doesn't constitute a softball program. As for "travel" ball. IF the check clears, DFA could find a team that would take him. HIGHLY diluted teams of average, at best, players. This not a problem known just to affect Norwalk girls. Thanks a lot BGam, First I have to shave my beard off and either get a wig or let my hair grow longer. I haven't let my hair out since the time I got out of the Army. Had it down to my shoulders then and nice and wavy. My figure isn't like it used to be but I think I could do it and help them win.

SJ - something my parents realized after a half-decade of that constant relocation is that they don't have to ever live in Ohio. That is very true and something I've been pondering. I love my home down there and I can always take summer visits. Know matter where where we might be, I'll always be a 'Buckeye' and love my home state. Sj, I know what you mean. Even though I cheer for Michigan there is something about this state. Here in Northwest Ohio, we have the fertile flat lands that raised excellent sweet corn and other good crops and we have the western basin of Lake Erie and the islands for sports fishing. In northeast Ohio we have our fruits and grapes along with some of the best Maple Syrup there is and elegant New England style towns. In the southeast some of the most beautiful wooded hills with some good streams to go fishing in and some of the most friendly mountain folks their are. In the southwest who can forget them and Cincinnati and their BEER making. Some of the best their is. Ohio is my home and I am proud of it like I'm proud to say I'm a BG Alum. Ohio born and breed.

I get the Chicago station. I get a Cincinnati station, I wish I could get a Detroit station so I could watch my Tigers play but at least I could watch the Reds instead of that other team in our state. But I see what you are saying but Mansfield is local and I can't get the Sandusky station, no cable just dish. Anyway I just heard that Monroeville just hired a new basketball coach today or maybe it was yesterday. His name, I think, is Paul Roeder and he was the Asst. Varsity coach last year. See YA LATER Dude,

And who said that we are under a globe warming has not been up here lately. I wish it would hurry up and get hot up here so my shoulder could start feeling better again. I HATE WINTERS. After a winter of bicycling, jogging, kayaking, fishing, golfing, tennis and flower gardening in Florida, that day I always regret, gets closer and closer on the calendar. Then that day arrives and I must leave all those things I love and head north. I always say, I'm done crying by the time I hit the Georgia line....lol I'm deep into preparing all my flower beds and just had a truckload of mulch delivered. This cool weather, I'm not seeing the activity I enjoy in Florida, it's damn cold riding a bike...lol and kayaking.....well..... I just had a picture of you kayaking up here and you flip over and heading back to shore. You looked like a popsicle on a stick. You had a name on your kayak and it said tuti-fruity. I figure that was your flavor.

I've been to the edge, took a leak while I enjoyed the view and came back without issue, so I'm okay whatever stories you have. I like it......lol Keep in mind, there are a devout group of flatlanders, who believe the world is flat. Well, a level works everywhere...right? Sports, It's working, Dr. Dude doesn't know what we are going to next to him. And as trying to use the level it's best to use a transit and plum for level ground. I think I still have my dads survey tools somewhere around the place.

Dr. Dude, It depends on kind of view you was looking at when you took that leak. If it was the back end of a bunch of animals That is so far out there that I am now concerned about the pets in your neighborhood. Don't worry Doc, no pets in my neighborhood, I think. It's always nice to keep you on your toes and guessing, what are these bunch of fanatics going to do next.

You are correct but I was not sure how far to extend that Mansfield area. Dude, I figured on if you get the Mansfield TV station you are in the Mansfield area. They do report on the teams up here and give the scores so I guess we are in the area.
