Vermilion Freshman: 11-2, 8-1 in the Bay. Vermilion JV: 9-5, 8-1 in the Bay
Clyde Freshman: 11-4, 5-2 in the Lake Clyde JV: 13-2, 7-0 in the Lake.
Those are the only two schools that I saw online that posted all of their scores.

Clyde 50 Bellevue 33- Frosh Clyde 51 Bellevue 44- JV Bellevue lead the game late in the 3rd quarter 44-26. Clyde finished the game with a 25-0 run in one of the craziest games I’ve seen.

To Perkins defense, three of SMCC players used to play for Perkins. SMCC will be really good in the River Division, should roll this year. Also a really nice job by both schools that raised money for a scholarship in the name of Stone Ambos a Perkins player who passed away in the off-season.

Is Sandusky's Freshman PG from last year out? Sandusky's pg from last year was a soph, Tahj was injured and may miss some time. I guess we will see in a few weeks when they start. One of the smoothest kids on the court, love his game and his on court vision and calmness that he brings. Def looking forward to watching him play once he is back.

Bannister is out for a bit with a broken foot, not a lot of depth for the Lady Fliers this year with some girls not playing.

I think the threat of rain kept a lot of people away last two weekends. The AD's struggle with the weather at the end of the year has been real. It tough to ask community members to sit out in 40 degree windy and rainy weather when they can listen to it on the radio or follow on social media. It personally doesn't bother me but I know a lot of people stay in when the weather isn't great.

Maybe in another 30 years you could win a sectional title or have a winning season.

Lozier has come a long way in just a few weeks. He has also started running the ball more the last couple of weeks which is right up his style. Hopefully he continues to grow as a passer. He is also passing the ball without his favorite target since 5th grade in Carson Rieman. Farrar and Flewelling have done a nice job catching the ball lately to open up the offense.

Carson Rieman out with a torn ACL for Clyde this year. He has been missed in football and will be missed on the hardwood as well.

Ross doesn't want to join the SBC. They already tried to drop Clyde from basketball this year and next year the Little Giants will not play Clyde. Part of Cahill's interview is that he wanted to stay in the TRAC and his goal is to compete in that league year in and year out.

A few weeks ago I watched Willard play SC and Clyde and I think the transfer from Crestline has some potential. I think his body reminds of the kid that went to Plymouth a few years ago. I don't think he's 6-6 but he does play at the rim. I know it was summer but when SC and Clyde got up big he didn't seem very interested so I think there is going to be quite a bit of tough love for him moving forward. BTW Blair was the best player in the gym, man its been awhile since I saw him and he really impressed me.

Last night Clyde beats PC 7-6, scoring 7 runs in the 6th inning. Baseball postseason might be the most interesting of all sports, one good or bad game from the pitcher and a great season can end quickly.

I am guessing two miserable years in a row, with no growth in the program would be my guess, it did not state a reason in the article, it was posted before the board meeting actually happened.
The funny thing is two of the board members that were the leaders for the firing of Zach both quit because "they didn't like the superintendent" or another reason is they got on the board for their own agendas and got what they wanted and quit. Classy people Monroeville has in their community.

Saw the other day in the Reflector that Monroeville did not renew their coach and will be looking for another new coach. I hope their community is happy, they are back to being the laughing stock of the area in boys basketball.

I am certainly do not want to get into a cat and mouse game of back and forth, just don't know why we always have to question ones opinion. We all have opinions about leagues and teams, I would rather listen to the fan who has been to 20-30 games a year than one that makes all opinions based on box scores.

Clyde is the best team I've seen this year. JMHO y The best team you’ve seen this Year??? Lex may have a different opinion. They slow the game down and win by 8 imo... One thing that Fillmore does very well is actually going to games to have an opinion...so he watched the game and saw that Clyde shot the lights out, outrebounded Ontario with the smaller team, turned Ontario over prob 20 times, and lead by 22 in the 4th quarter. That performance would have beaten many teams in the district that night. He watched every game that Ontario has played so why not have that opinion? I would love to know how many games and teams you have watched in the area...

On a side note, Clyde lost in OT, Heidi Marshall did not play as she tore her ACL against Tiffin, I don't think they would have made it to districts but always tough to see one of the better athletes in the area suffer season ending injuries.

All district voting happened on Sunday, that usually gives a preview of how the all league selections will go. I assume it will be released to the media this week sometime. I think all-league voting happens next Sunday.

I think SC wins the sectional title over SP Plymouth gets rolled by MC Eagles will need an act of God to keep it within 50. Mapleton gets bounced. Western wins the first, Carey beats them in the final. NL loses to MHS by around 10. Crestview loses to Willard.
Just my thoughts.
