Hey Guys help me out here. didnt they used to pick by position and correct me if i am wrong on any of these positions. Here is what i could come up with.

No booker on second team, no Jefferson on second team offense. You can tell this is voted on and not off actual stats lol, some kids don't deserve first team.

Detail which Star stats are incorrect.
The ones I checked, taking MOAC site numbers and adding the box score numbers from week 10, showed the Stars to be correct.

From the MOAC constitution:
Football All-Conference Positions:
Offense Defense
(O)Lineman 5 (D)Lineman 4
Offensive Skill Positions 5 Linebackers/Defensive Backs 7
(O)Receiver 1
(O)Specialist 1 (D)Specialist 1
Hope this kinda "columns up"
*Tight Ends can be either a lineman or receiver + Offensive skill players may include a receiver, but at least one receiver must be selected for that position
First Team member nominations for each football position shall be submitted to the (Commissioner) beginning the Sunday prior to the last football weekend (first day of week 10) and will close at noon on Wednesday of that same week. A player may be nominated for and receive honors for more than one position. Voting will commence following the playing of the last regular season game and end 48 hours later. If any ties exist, the Commissioner will notify the coaches via email and open the voting for a 24 hour period. Second team nominations will be opened at the conclusion of the First team voting and close 24 hours later. At that time voting for second team members shall begin and end 48 hours later. If any ties exist the Commissioner will notify the coaches and open tie breaker voting for a period of 24 hours. At the conclusion of the tie breaker voting the Commissioner will post the first and second team members, then request honorable mention player names from each coach. The Honorable Mention player names will be posted as they are supplied.

Star says sayre has 1500 passing yards, must have passed for -200 and some last week? I'm pretty sure he has around 1900-2000. Will see Friday.

The great news is they can possibly make all central district teams. If that doesn't work out there is always the county team to fall back on. There are plenty of list for these great kids to make.

Sitting here, weighing an 88 mile one-way trip for a game tomorrow night, it occurred to me that this is a bit out of the norm for the usual suspects, Pleasant, River Valley or North Union to not have a home game in week 11. So I checked. Going back to 2000 Pleasant has had 10 home games in week 11, North Union 4 and River Valley 1. Back in 2002 and 2003 both Pleasant and Ridgdale had home games in week 11 out of region 20. Only in 2005 did the area not have a home game in week 11 until last year and again this year.

Man! I thought my son would have least got an honorable mention..show a little bit of love going out the door. LOL Aaahhh! It's ok. Being hurt for 3 games probably hurt him. So now at least I'll post his HUDL video to say...he should have been an honorable mention. LOL (I'm joking guys.) My son never says anything about anything. I don't think anything effects him "oooh a participation" award riled him and his older brother up in Crestline one time at the football banquet when the coach awarded his son the "Bulldog" award. LOL My oldest son had an amazing year. Tied for the league in interceptions, broke game record in receiving I even think. My son was in tears when he got home I heard. Tore up his award. The bad thing is the coach's son (which was a great friend (and still is) of my sons) told my oldest son that his father was giving him a special award..so hence he thought it was the "Bulldog" award (giving to the MVP on the team. GT chase has a really good deep ball. Give him receivers that aren't making those drops even better. Should step up in the pocket more but he's pretty good on his feet too.
