That's now JA trails 35 - 21 RV trails 34 - 7 and Centerburg trails 37 - 6 all in the 4th. Barring miracle comebacks, Pleasant is the only one left carrying the MOAC banner.

To Jon Alder, River Valley, and Centerburg great seasons! Making the playoffs in Ohio isn't exactly the easiest thing to do! You were all one of only 224 teams that got a chance this weekend, meanwhile 527 other teams were turning stuff in.
To Pleasant, best of luck tomorrow! You guys can get it done!

GT chase has a really good deep ball. Give him receivers that aren't making those drops even better. Should step up in the pocket more but he's pretty good on his feet too. Yeah! That's what our maintenance guy says...he's a Canton guy who refs a lot of High School games. Thanks for your observation. It was a rough season. I'm actually happy its over. Now we will see if he gets any offers. We are visiting Findlay tomorrow and Ohio Dominican next Saturday. I love going to the games.

I do have a question for you guys. How is the Honorable Mention picked? It is by your head coach, right? He gets one pick. Right?

I do have a question for you guys. How is the Honorable Mention picked? It is by your head coach, right? He gets one pick. Right? I always thought it was the one kid on your team that got the most votes, but not enough to land first or second team. Say you have 3 kids that you put up for all league that didn't get first team, or second team, but meanwhile Eric got 3 votes, Kyle got 1 and Stan got 2, Eric would get the Honorable Mention. I could be dead wrong so anyone that may know better feel free to correct me please

I figured starner and booker would get a spot some where. Thought Cooke should for Galion for playing good with what he had at times. Lot of surprises, think Marion county team comes out soon if not already

All league voting can be interesting. Coaches get to make the vote. I would think if I was a coach I would base my vote off of not stats persay, but off of things like who made me nervous on film, who I tryed to avoid in my gameplan, and lastly who gave me fits on Friday night. I'm sure some see it that way maybe, maybe not, I don't get a vote so it really doesn't matter. Some coaches probably do vote via stats, some coaches probably immediately won't vote for a kid if they "got their feelings hurt somehow by that kid." Teams that are made by media votes tend to reflect stats more often and I believe these are your all district and all state teams. Stats for defensive players and offensive skill guys come into play a lot more often and for offensive lineman it seems to reflect either physical size or team rushing yards. These are my observations at least.
Craycraft, Warner, Eisnaugle, Sayre, and Spaudling were all pretty good. Really hard for me to look at any of these and say they didn't deserve a spot.

I don't even remember him at all, probably he was on the offensive line..6'1" 195 lbs. I'm sure he deserved it to be named it by our head coach. Thanks for the explanations guys!

Blue parts best receiver. He wouldn't put those numbers up in red.

Clearly the best reciever in the blue. Unknown what he would do in the red since he doesn't play in the red. But statistically the best reciever in the league two year's running. I just don't understand what the logic would be, Highland literally triple teamed him. Oh well.

The reciever from Fairbanks did have more yards this year. And kudos to him. But that does kind of throw out the argument that Pearl wouldn't do that in the Red. Fairbanks is a very small school and their qb and reciever appear to have moved the ball just fine in the Red.

Fairbanks doesn't run the ball it's shot gun pass everytime. Quick slants. They had 0 against Harding and didn't put up many points. He only lead cause warner passes the ball everytime cause that offense doesn't run. Pearl is better then those WRs from what I've seen.

We had a good receiver didn't warrant any 2nd team or HM either. Harrison Ivy (junior)...his stats were 37 catches for 646 yards...that's almost a 20 yard per catch average..not bad. He won some Crawford County award for wide receivers. He was hurt for two games too..didn't play I think. (He's the one who made that amazing 40 yard catch off of the Cardingtons cornerback's back. (You can watch in on Chase's HUDL video.) That's got to be one of the best catches in our league of the season.

Yes, they are both track stars. Harrison had some major knee surgery this last winter. A rod or pin in his leg/knee..don't know exactly what surgery was..ACL or something. He had a decent year coming back from it. I was proud of him. If Chase wouldn't have gotten hurt, he would have had even a bigger year.

Just thought the kid deserved an award somewhere. Had good numbers in a new defense to him. And had big games on both sides of the ball. Lots of kids on other teams deserving too.
